Xcalia Studio™ is a unique visual mapping tool that provides the shortest and easiest way to map Java object models to relational database schemas. It offers a visual interface to manage all of the mapping features that are required to build a Java application accessing data from a relational database. It simplifies the persistence function for developers and speeds time to development.

Xcalia Studio™ automates the generation of XML metadata and mapping documents, offering a complete view of the mapping between the Java classes and the relational schema. It organizes the different tasks to be performed when accessing a relational database. Xcalia Studio™ accelerates the process of O/R mapping in Java development, allowing for the testing of multiple mapping possibilities and the evaluation of their impact on performance without having to write numerous metadata documents.
