Xcalia Mappers™
Xcalia has made service-oriented integration even easier with the introduction of a collection of Xcalia Mappers™ that access (invoke) heterogenous data and service resources to compose dynamic transactional applications. Xcalia Data Mappers come standard with XIC and are available for the following data types, Relational, ODBMS, and XML. An Extension Mapper for services is also included as part of the Platform. Additional Xcalia Service Mappers are available as optional components that easily extend XIC to work with a variety of service resources:
- The Xcalia Mainframe Mapper enables integration into JCA-ready mainframe environments and a complete end-to-end solution is delivered by integrating CICS and IMS connectors.
- The Xcalia Packaged Application Mapper enables integration with application software, either by means of JCA-ready applications or through direct connectors.
- The Xcalia Web Services Mapper enables to integrate into a web service environment and access services via SOAP and WSDL.
- The Xcalia Message Mapper enables integration into environments where message-mode access is necessary such as IBM's WebSphere MQ (formerly MQ Series) or any JMS-ready environment.
- The Xcalia Component Mapper enables integration with local and remote Java objects, including EJB session beans.
- The Xcalia JCA Mapper enables integration with any JCA-compliant resource.
- The Xcalia Database Mapper enables access to commercial and open source relational databases, the Versant® object database, XML files & streams, and Jalisto databases.
